General Anesthesia

Some children and individuals with special health care needs who have extensive oral healthcare needs, acute situational anxiety, uncooperative age-appropriate behavior, immature cognitive functioning, disabilities, or medical conditions require general anesthesia to receive dental treatment in a safe and humane fashion.

The use of in-office general anesthesia provides alternatives and opportunities for safe, quality care for pediatric dental patients and may help protect the developing psyche of the child.

Dr. Nidhi is set up to provide general anesthesia services to patients and works with a licensed dental anesthesiologist to provide sedation at the office.
